LynxDock applies for NSF research funding

In July 2026, LynxDock LLC submitted its first research proposal to the National Science Foundation's SBIR program - America's Seed Fund. The pitch targets the problems that make a platform like LynxDock genuinely hard: keeping real-time operational state consistent across many clients, scaling multi-party voice, and making a self-hosted system self-healing enough that a gaming organization can run it on hardware they already own, without an ops team.
Those aren't marketing problems; they're the engineering problems we work on every day, and the ones this site's dev logs document. The proposal formalizes that research direction. We'll share what we can about the process as it unfolds.
